Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Terminal Expansion

Project Summary

Rosendin provided all electrical and communication pathways work on the terminal expansion at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The expansion is a LEED-certified project adding over 170,000 square feet and nine gates to the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The project included several challenges, including running the electrical in an operational airport, working above active gates, a delayed project start, special lighting systems, unique fixtures, and electrical room placement.
Rosendin met and exceeded all project expectations while remaining on time and on budget. The team’s relentless adherence to strict safety policies, substantial prefabricated assemblies, and an actively engaged BIM team contributed to the successful delivery of this project.
