Queen Emma Building Renovation
Project Summary
Rosendin served as the design-build electrical contractor for the conversion of a 12-story office building in downtown Honolulu into a 71-unit affordable housing residential building. The historic Queen Emma building was originally constructed in the 1960s and is a local landmark. The building was previously used as an office building but was empty for 15 years. In order to address the affordable housing crisis in Honolulu, the building was converted into studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments.
