Cathay Bank moved its corporate headquarters from China Town to an existing, 7-story building east of Los Angeles in El Monte, CA. The dated building required extensive rehabilitation of its core and shell in addition to completely updating interior spaces to include remodeling of the lobby area, cubicle space, break rooms, and offices. Installation of a leading edge security system, new parking lot lighting, and an emergency generator was part of the renovations.
