Rancho Cordova, CA

California Military Department Consolidated Headquarters

Project Summary

This is a new 31-acre campus constructed to provide administrative and operational space for the California Military Department (CMD), as well as to support the California National Guard operations. The campus has five buildings: Access Control Point, a two-story Headquarters building, Warehouse, Central Utility Plant, the Emergency Operations Center. This will allow the CMD to have a single campus to manage operations and mission response for local, state, and national emergencies rather than the multiple leased facilities throughout northern California where they currently operate. This facility is not only designed to meet LEED Gold but has also been designed to achieve Zero Net Energy.
