A missile defense testing facility, Aegis Ashore is a land-based component of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). Located at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on Kauai, this project included the integration of utility power with closed transition to onsite emergency generators to service the deckhouse and launchers. Rosendin’s scope included the installation of new utility service switchgear, generator, and associated paralleling switchgear, Security and CCTV System, Fire Alarm and Mass Notification System tie-in, and fiber optic telecommunication wiring at launch pads.
