Morgan Hill, CA (May 19, 2022) ā Rosendin, the nationās largest employee-owned electrical contractor, helped raise over $100,000 in donations at the 2nd Annual Valle Monte League Drive For Mental Health Golf Tournament. The fundraising event took place on Friday, May 13 at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill, California, raising funds to help provide and promote better mental health within the community.
“After the last two years of pandemic living, many people are realizing that stress, isolation, and uncertainty have taken a toll on their well-being,ā said Brenda Chizanskos, Valle Monte League President. āNow more than ever it is critical to support and promote better mental health in our community. We are grateful to Rosendin for allowing us to follow in the footsteps of those who came before us nearly 70 years ago and our commitment is unwavering!”

Proceeds benefitted the following charities:
- The Centre for Living with Dying⢠serves children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with grief and loss.
- Family & Children Services, a division of Caminar, has been empowering individuals and families to move toward greater wellness, resilience, and independence.
- Hearts & Minds Activity Center enriches the lives of people affected by Alzheimerās Disease and related conditions by providing interactive, safe, nurturing, intergenerational services and support.
Rosendin is the first-ever premier sponsor of the golf tournament which started in 2021. Participants of the four-person scramble event participated in golf games, a dinner party by the green, and an award ceremony.
As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Rosendin has prioritized doing its part in providing support and educating the public. The electrical contracting company recently closed out a successful Construction Safety Week in which workers were educated about important topics surrounding holistic health, including mental wellness. The electrical contracting company supports physical and mental health both for its employees and the communities where they live and work.
