Project VA11

Project Summary

This project is the 1st building of a planned 5 building campus. Rosendin was the design-build electrical contractor for this 256,256 SF, two-level data center shell. The facility is subdivided into eight data halls with an attached administrative office area for personnel and tenant use. The original basis of design for the facility was to provide a data center capable of delivering 24MW of critical IT load capacity. However, 25% of the way through design and construction of the first 6MW phase, the client challenged the team and Rosendin to increase the density of the facility to meet the growing demands of the market from 24MW to 30MW. Rosendin and partners, including the General Contractor, Design Team Partners, and Vendors worked together to design and successfully construct the facility with the increased density without impact to the schedule.
