Rosendin provided complete engineering, procurement and construction services for the installation of an electric, solar energy system on 150 acres at the Cascade Solar Project located in Joshua Tree, CA. Before construction, tortoise fencing was installed around the site to protect the indigenous Desert Tortoise, and other wildlife and the project was required to employ archaeologists and geologists on site, at all times, to protect the historical significance of this property to Native Americans. The Arizona Desert Monsoon with rain, wind, and dust added to the challenges that had to be overcome by Rosendin to deliver this project in 66 working days; on time and under budget.
