Camp Colley, a summer adventure camp in northern Arizona, immerses youth in nature, while engaging them in leadership and recreational experiences, and will be receiving solar at the camp. As the campās solar partner, Rosendin Electric will ensure that the camp and its facilities have consistent power to operate the camp.
Additionally, Rosendin may also send current employees to the camp to teach classes for the campers, including showing them how solar power works, setting up electrical experiments, and other STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) projects to inspire the youth to consider a career in STEM.
There are also plans for Rosendin to add Wi-Fi, internet, and surveillance cameras to the site to monitor the solar panels remotely. Further, they are considering adding other cameras to the site to monitor the camp during the winter.
