YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting equipment to and from our project locations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Always prioritize safety
Transporting material and equipment to and from job sites Ensure up to date maintenance on vehicles Maintain an accurate record of vehicle inspections with adherence to DOT standards
Ensure the safe operation of vehicles
Operate vehicle in accordance with REI safety polices, OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws and regulation
Secure loads on vehicles in compliance with Rosendin and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
Outbound functions include selecting checking, packing, and shipping orders
Inbound functions include receiving, placement and put away of product
Must be familiar with the job location and surrounding areas
Maintain a clean driving record
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above and other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Ability to read maps and follow directions
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of material
Must be able to physically meet DOT health requirements
Must be able to obtain a valid Class A CDL
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in using a mobile device
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a clean driving record
Must have 3 years of verifiable experience operating a vehicle over 10,000lbs
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
