The Race is produced and administered by Wharf to Wharf Race Inc., a California nonprofit corporation chartered to promote running as a means to health and fitness. In service of this mission, the Race has more than $6 million dollars to Santa Cruz County youth sports programs in general.

The Relay for Life movement is American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. From team members to volunteers, we all want to remember those we’ve lost, help those affected today, and give us a home team advantage against cancer.

The Sharks Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of underserved youth and families in the community with an emphasis in the areas of education, health and safety, and character development.

This family-friendly event features a 10K, 5K, 250-yard Kids’ Dash along the Los Gatos Creek Trail; suitable for runners and walkers of any level. After, participants can join the Oktoberfest Festival and enjoy; beverages, great food, lots of music, dancing, artisans, kids’ rides and more.

Bridges to Prosperity envisions a world where poverty caused by rural isolation no longer exists; a root cause of poverty, and we believe that connection is the foundation to opportunity. We work to build footbridges that connect residents to education, health care and economic opportunity.

Proceeds from the race go to local elementary school PTAs to fund after-school programs such as: arts, music, science, sports, technology and many more.

Founded in 1999, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is dedicated to fighting the world’s toughest cancer. In our mission to save lives, we attack on all fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy. Our effort is amplified by a nationwide network of grassroots support.
