Project Summary

The design-build Camp Springs Energy Center Wind Projects are comprised of collection systems, two substations, and 11 miles of transmission line built in two (2) phases over two (2) years. Energy Center I consist of 87 General Electric wind turbines with an estimated annual energy production capability of 482 million kW hours. The Camp Springs Energy Center I went into commercial operation in June 2007. Camp Springs Energy Center II went into service in 2008 and includes 80 General Electric wind turbines. The estimated annual energy production capability is 440 million kW hours.
