The San Jose City Hall included an 18-story, 413,872 square foot tower building which incorporate a mix of City Department Offices including the Mayor's Office, the City Manager's Office, Building and Planning Department, Public Works Department, and Department of Transportation, amongst others. The 92,791 square foot Council Wing includes the City Council Members Offices, and the City Council Chambers, a theatre-like auditorium for City Council meetings. The third building is a 12,275 square foot, 108-foot tall glass dome building called The Rotunda. This building is centered on the Plaza, and is considered the showpiece of the San Jose City Hall. The project also includes a 145,921 square foot, single-level, below-grade parking area.
