The San Joaquin County Administration Building is a 250,000 square foot, six story, design-build, class A office space. The building consists of a four story glass entry atrium with complete smoke control. The County of San Joaquin Board chambers, with theater seating, occupies one third of the fifth floor. The County Court data center is a 24/7/365 operation and is backed up by a 300 kW diesel generator. The building was designed to accommodate for growth for several decades and houses approximately 540 County employees. The project was completed in 15 months.
