Phaes 1 of the Chaffey JUHSD Direct to Owner project consisted of 7.6MW DC Solar Canopy Structures at eight (8) school sites. Phase 2 consisted of 1.12MW DC Solar Canopy Structures at two (2) school sites. By incorporating our EPC methodology, the Rosendin team was able to work with the design and save significant time and money for the build schedule.
Our team worked collaboratively with the developer to ensure the time frame of the project coincided with school events as to not shut down the school during the week or over a weekend due to extracurricular events.
During Phase 1 there was a significant amount of phasing due to the high volume of traffic for the high schools. During Phase 2 our team also collaborated schedules with another contractor in building the new parking lot at Rancho Cucamonga High School. In Phase 2, both system were tied into provisions made from the phase 1 sites.
