      Rosendin is an industry leader in the utilization of cutting-edge technology to execute jobs safer, faster, and more efficiently. We are always on the lookout for hard-working people who would like to learn trade skills through our paid apprentice program. Apprenticeship programs with unionized electrical contracting companies like Rosendin are coordinated through Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees (JATCs).

      JATCs comprise an extensive nationwide network and are sponsored through a partnership between local chapters of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). This partnership is known as the Electrical Training Alliance, which was created to blend classroom and online learning to improve the apprenticeship experience.

      Does Rosendin provide work visas or work permits?
      No

      Am I able to work remotely?
      All field positions are in-person

      What are the basic requirements?
      18 years of age and must have a earned a high-school diploma or GED.

      How much do you pay?
      Pay is determined by many variables, including but not limited to location, classification, and experience level.

      Do you have overtime opportunities?
      Many jobs will have overtime opportunities, but they are job-specific, and not all jobs offer overtime.

      Union Related Questions

      Will I have to join a union?
      Rosendin is a union electrical contractor that hires electricians through the IBEW (http://www.ibew.org/). Membership is optional.

      Some non-union shops offer comparable pay, why should I go union?
      Being a part of a union guarantees wages and raises without having to negotiate with your employer directly. Additionally, your health care and retirement benefits are paid for through the union, so you keep more of your weekly paycheck.

      Will I be required to pay union dues?
      Union dues are a small percentage of your weekly paycheck. Those dues go toward the representation you receive as a union member and administrative costs to connect you with contractors and manage your health and retirement benefits.
