SFO has redeveloped Terminal 1 into the Harvey Milk Terminal, in order to meet the needs of modern travelers and revolutionize the guest experience. Harvey Milk Terminal 1 elevates SFO’s standard of providing a world-class, environmentally friendly travel experience and is expected to meet or exceed the award-winning environmental standards of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 Boarding Area E.
Exelixis was a design-build relocation project that included the renovation of two buildings. Exelixis is headquartered in Alameda’s Waterfront at Harbor Bay in a large, modern campus with state-of-the-art labs and additional office space, providing a strong foundation for Exelixis’ long-term vision and growth.
Rosendin Renewable Energy Group is building the largest solar power project in southeastern Texas. When complete, Aktina will provide the capacity to generate 500MWac/631MWdc of renewable energy, enough to power 100,000 homes annually.
Rosendin is renovating the new headquarters building for Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) in Oakland, California.
Building 10 is home to the Clinical Center, the world’s largest clinical research hospital.
The newly-opened JW Marriott Anaheim Resort features exclusive amenities including a yoga & zen room, a JW Garden, and rooftop bar and lounge with stunning views of the nightly fireworks show at Disneyland Park.
The expansion is a LEED-certified project adding 173,000 square feet and nine gates to the Barbara Jordan Terminal.
The $315M LA Memorial Coliseum project was completed at the end of 2019 and restored the 96-year-old stadium to its former glory, as well as modernize the facility. The historic stadium opened in 1923 and is home to the USC Trojans and has served as a host venue for the 1932 and 184 Summer Olympics; it will once again host the Summer Olympics in the upcoming 2028 games. The renovation will provide seats for 77,500 including luxury boxes and club suites. To date, the project has logged more than 200,000 labor hours with 30% of the work performed by local craft workers. The field has been renamed United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. In addition to the new name, the project included replacing all of the seats, new suites and concession stands, upgraded entryways and video screens, replacing electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems and installing new field and stadium lighting.

I was looking for a career change, and with no knowledge about the Construction Industry and Project Management, joining the Rosendin 2022 Summer Internship Program was a blessing in disguise. Throughout my internship, there was never a moment where I wasn’t learning. I was challenged, kept curious, and eager to learn more. When offered to come on full-time, there was no hesitation in accepting the offer. New to the industry, I was faced with moments of imposter syndrome. However, it’s a different motivation and drive when your mentor, team, and company believe in you and invest in your growth. At Rosendin, the opportunities to grow your career are abundant. You won’t be pigeonholed to just one role and department. If you want to venture into another department and are willing to learn and have a strong work ethic – the possibilities are endless. Rosendin is like a treasure chest! You have the key to unlock all the endless gems that Rosendin has to offer.
I met many really cool people from all over the US during intern week that I still like to keep in touch with today. Working as an intern at the San Francisco airport, I learned an enormous amount about project management and the importance of communication with your team, other contractors and clients. I was able to practice what I learned in my school projects at San Jose State by setting goals, deadlines and communicating effectively to avoid difficulties throughout the year. Once I graduated, I was pleased to hear from one of my mentors that I had an opportunity to continue working full-time at Rosendin. Currently, I get to work with low-voltage systems at the airport alongside the most knowledgeable, skilled and experienced professionals in the industry. My team has been extremely supportive and helpful in training me and it’s been a pleasure so far working with everyone.
The thing I absolutely love about Rosendin is that they care about their people. This was shown to me during my first summer internship and is still very evident as I go through my second-year internship. This experience with Rosendin has been amazing because it immediately immersed me in the electrical construction industry. It has been a pleasure to work alongside the team at Kaiser Permanente in Woodbridge, VA as they have provided me with knowledge that I will carry with me as I progress with this amazing company. I am truly grateful that I could have this experience and I am excited to continue my journey with Rosendin Electric.
I truly enjoy waking up each day and working alongside such amazing people. Management support here is unlike any place I’ve worked before. Our employees are empowered to take charge of their careers, and tools are provided to allow everyone to achieve success. Additionally, there is an emphasis on the importance of a healthy work-life balance which is important to me with small children at home. I take comfort in the reality that we are all in this together. I get to work for a company where everyone is quite literally working together for the greater good of the entire company.
I still feel like I’m working toward an ultimate goal of making the industry more accepting of and accessible to women and other minorities. Every time a new woman is hired in my office, I get excited to see the scales tip a little more.
